summary: De maatschappelijke aandacht voor intrafamiliaal geweld is het laatste decennium sterk gestegen. In de publicatie Intrafamiliaal geweld gaan we in op de politionele rol bij intrafamiliaal geweld en de aansluitende justitiële aanpak. We kijken naar de dynamieken van waaruit de aanpak zijn vormen krijgt. Specifieke goede praktijken worden aangedragen om te inspireren naar concrete acties op het veld. De samenwerking met de partners in de multidisciplinaire aanpak wordt belicht. Ook bespreken we de impact van intrafamiliaal geweld op kinderen: zij verdienen onze specifieke aandacht in de aanpak. - 520a_Summary_ss: De maatschappelijke aandacht voor intrafamiliaal geweld is het laatste decennium sterk gestegen. Door de verhoogde aandacht wordt steeds duidelijker hoe dit geweld vele mensen treft en een ernstige en langdurige impact heeft op het leven kinderen en volwassenen. Het installeren van de ‘hier en nu’-veiligheid is de vertrekbasis voor een verdere aanpak, gericht op het voorkomen van recidive en het herstellen van beschermende omstandigheden die mensen in staat stelt het eigen leven terug op rails te krijgen. In deze ontwikkeling is het duidelijk dat individuele organisaties meestal niet alleen dit geweld (langdurig) kunnen stoppen en dat in vele gevallen multidisciplinair samenwerking nodig is om effectief en efficiënt op deze dynamieken in te spelen. Politie en justitie zijn belangrijke partners in dit beleid en de multidisciplinaire aanpak. Vanuit de politionele en justitiële aanpak kan het kader en de voorwaarden worden gecreëerd om geweld te stoppen en hulpverlening te installeren. Dit kader is in vele gevallen, en zeker bij ernstig en/of langdurig geweld, noodzakelijk. In de publicatie Intrafamiliaal geweld gaan we in op de politionele rol bij intrafamiliaal geweld en de aansluitende justitiële aanpak. We kijken naar de dynamieken van waaruit de aanpak zijn vormen krijgt. Specifieke goede praktijken worden aangedragen om te inspireren naar concrete acties op het veld. De samenwerking met de partners in de multidisciplinaire aanpak wordt belicht. Ook bespreken we de impact van intrafamiliaal geweld op kinderen: zij verdienen onze specifieke aandacht in de aanpak. De auteursploeg, afkomstig uit politie, justitie, multidisciplinaire aanpak en beleid en allen met expertise in de aanpak van intrafamiliaal geweld, wenst u te inspireren en te motiveren om mee in te zetten op het stoppen van intrafamiliaal geweld en kinderen en volwassenen te helpen naar een veilige toekomst.
